The trick for the 2 times table
Doubles! 2 × 7 is just 7 + 7.

- 2 × 1= 2
- 2 × 2= 4
- 2 × 3= 6
- 2 × 4= 8
- 2 × 5= 10
- 2 × 6= 12
- 2 × 7= 14
- 2 × 8= 16
- 2 × 9= 18
- 2 × 10= 20
- 2 × 11= 22
- 2 × 12= 24
And backwards: dividing by 2
Halve it! 14 ÷ 2 is half of 14.
